What can I do?
- Got a few hours to spare this Saturday?
Come along to Crisis Camp London – we will be meeting on the 13th February and then every Saturday until (at least) the 27th February). We need both technical and non-technical volunteers to come along from 10 – 5 to help out with projects. Please register in advance.
If you don’t live near London then you can find your closest Crisis Camp here.
- Looking for a job that anyone can do?
There are plenty of tasks that anyone can help out with. Take a look at the ‘simple tasks anyone can do’ page for ideas. There are also lots of jobs around the London base that need doing: updating the website, carrying out research into what is needed in Haiti, and generating publicity are just a few examples.
- Not technically trained, but have other skills you’d like to offer?
Crisis Camp is in need of volunteers with all sorts of skills – from translators to talented tweeters! Take a look at the CrisisCommons projects page for ideas about how you might be able to help
- Can’t make it to Crisis Camp but still want to help out?
You can volunteer remotely too – take a look at the suggestions on the projects page and the ‘simple tasks anyone can do’ page. To interact with other volunteers, visit the IRC chat.
